Prepare your wall

1. Go to the 'Layout' step.

2. Select the wall where you want to create your wall indent.

3. Reduce its thickness (to accommodate a second wall).

4. Align it with the other walls on the sides.

Create the wall for your wall indent

1. Draw a second wall in front of the main wall.

2. Reduce the thickness of this wall to the minimum (max: 0 3/4").

3. Move this wall as close to the main wall as possible (until it looks like there is only one wall). 

Create and customize your wall indent

1. Go to the 'Wall openings' step > 'Opening' category.

2. Select the opening of your choice.

3. Place the opening on the wall indent.

4. Adjust the dimensions of the opening to fit your project.

5. Customize the appearance of your wall ident by changing the material and/or adding furnishings in the dedicated steps.
